The Triumph Slip On Exhaust Named After the Hardest Road Race on Earth

Since 1907 the Isle of Man TT has closed 37 miles of public road on a small island in the Irish Sea, once a year. Stone walls at arm's length. A mountain section that has ended careers. The bikes that won there were never the quietest ones.

We named this exhaust after that race, not as a tribute but as a standard. The Two Stage Core runs two baffles at two different diameters to control flow in sequence, so mid range torque survives corners, rolling throttle, and city traffic. The Dimpled Baffle shapes a deep, classic note that brings out the natural voice of your engine. At 2.4 pounds per silencer against 8 to 10 pounds of stock muffler per side, the weight comes off the back of the bike where you feel it first.

Install

Difficulty: Easy · Time: about 30 minutes · Tools: basic hand tools

Support the bike and let the exhaust cool completely.
Loosen the clamps at the header joint and the factory mounting bolts.
Remove the stock mufflers.
Fit the Builder Series TT silencers to the stock headers and hand start the mounting hardware.
Set alignment and clearance, then torque the clamps and mounts to spec.
Start the bike and recheck the joints for leaks.

Check your model: select your make, model, and year above. Fitment differs by trim and year across the Bonneville, Thruxton, Street, and Speed Twin platforms.
This is a loud exhaust by design. It does not accept a dB Killer. If you want a quieter setup, we recommend the Predator Pro with the optional dB Killer.
Brushed finish is meant to age. It needs no polishing and develops character with heat cycles.
Most fitments need no tuning. The Thruxton 900 is the exception and needs a dealer tune to the 2-2 Arrow Map. Confirm on your model page before ordering.

Is the Builder Series TT a bolt on install?

Yes. It mounts to your stock headers and factory mounting points. No cutting, no welding, and no ECU tuning on most fitments. Budget about 30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Do I need a tune or an ECU remap?

Most fitments need no tuning. The Two Stage Core controls flow in sequence rather than opening the system wide, so the bike keeps its mid range without a remap. Check your model page before ordering.

How loud is it, and can I fit a dB Killer?

It is loud by design. The Dimpled Baffle shapes a deep note that brings out your engine's natural voice, and the TT is not compatible with dB Killers. If you want a quieter setup with mid range tuning and dB Killer compatibility, look at the Predator Pro 2.0, which uses a Louvre Core.

How much weight does it actually save?

Each silencer is 2.4 pounds. Stock mufflers run 8 to 10 pounds per side. That comes off the back of the bike, which is where you feel it first through direction changes.

Will the brushed finish discolour over time?

It will change, and that is the point. The 20 gauge 304 stainless is rated for sustained heat cycling and the brushed finish needs no polishing. It gains colour and character as it heat cycles.
