The Builder Series TT is a bolt on slip on exhaust for the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 and 1200 RS, 2025 and newer, built in 20 gauge 304 stainless with a Two Stage Core that holds mid range torque and a Dimpled Baffle that shapes a deep note from the 1200cc twin. Bolt on to factory headers, 2.4 pounds per silencer, no tune needed.

This is a loud exhaust by design and it does not accept a dB Killer. If you want a quieter setup, we recommend the Predator Pro, which takes an optional dB Killer.

The Exhaust the Speed Twin 1200 Should Have Shipped With

Since 1907 the Isle of Man TT has been sorting out what actually matters in a motorcycle. Thirty seven miles of closed public road, stone walls at arm's length, and a mountain section that has ended careers. The bikes that won there were not the heaviest, the quietest, or the most cautious.

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 is a performance focused modern classic, and riders who choose it are not looking for stock. Stock is what they get on the exhaust, because that is what the factory has to ship. The mufflers are heavy, quiet, and visually restrained, and they hold back the character the 1200cc twin can deliver.

The Two Stage Core runs two baffles at two different diameters to control flow in sequence, so mid range torque survives corners, rolling throttle, and city traffic, which is exactly where the Speed Twin lives. The Dimpled Baffle brings out the engine's natural voice. At 2.4 pounds per silencer it also drops real weight off the back and sharpens how the bike moves.

The TT is loud. That is the design, not a side effect, and it does not accept a dB Killer. If quiet matters more to you than volume, look at the Predator Pro instead, which takes an optional dB Killer.

Install

Difficulty: Beginner · Time: about 30 minutes · Tools: socket set, Allen key set, torque wrench

Let the exhaust cool, then loosen the exhaust clamps and detach the OEM mounting hardware to remove the stock mufflers.
Position the Builder Series TT silencers onto the stock header pipes.
Secure each silencer with the included stainless steel exhaust clamps.
Install the aluminium spacer and torque all fasteners to the manufacturer specification.
Start the bike and recheck the joints for leaks.

Before You Buy

Check your model: fits the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 and 1200 RS, 2025 and newer. Earlier Speed Twin 1200 models, 2019 to 2024, use a different Builder Series TT part.

Is the Builder Series TT a bolt on install?

Do I need a tune or an ECU remap?

No, not with the factory catalytic converter in place. The Two Stage Core controls flow in sequence rather than opening the system wide, so the bike keeps its mid range without a remap.

Does it fit both the Speed Twin 1200 and the RS?

Yes. Both models use the same exhaust mounting interface, so the same part fits both, 2025 and newer.

How much weight does it save?

2.4 pounds per silencer, 4.8 pounds per pair. Stock mufflers run 8 to 10 pounds per side, so real weight comes off the back of the bike where you feel it through direction changes.

Is it street legal where I ride?

Sound and emissions rules vary by state and by country, and this exhaust is loud by design with no dB Killer option. Check your local regulations before ordering.

Can I fit a dB Killer to quieten it down?

No. The Two Stage Core is what gives the TT its sound character and it is the reason dB Killers are not compatible. We recommend the Predator Pro, which takes an optional dB Killer.

Easy to install, perfect fit!

Installed a set of these mufflers on my '25 Speed Twin 1200 this morning. Very simple to install, fit and finish was excellent, all hardware is included (clamps, spacers, washers). Watch the video on YT and pay close attention when removing the passenger footpeg and that small bearing! Really brings out the sound of the twin with these mufflers.
