The Classic Scrambler 900 is a motorcycle that was built from the ground up, starting with a Triumph Scrambler. This build was designed with a focus on both style and performance.
One of the most crucial elements of a Triumph Off Road motorcycle like the Scrambler is its suspension system. To ensure the best possible performance on rough terrain, such as gravel roads and uneven surfaces, we made some modifications to the suspension. This included customizing the front suspension with new internal components, such as dampening rods and springs, provided by Pierre at Works Performance. The rear shocks were also replaced with a custom set of Noleen J6 shocks that were specifically designed for this build.
In addition to upgrading the suspension, we also improved the appearance of the motorcycle by replacing the stock wheels with Excel Takasago rims on Talon hubs. These wheels not only look more stylish, but they also reduce the unsprung weight of the motorcycle, which enhances performance. A lighter unsprung weight allows the motorcycle to accelerate faster and handle better on the road. This build showcases the versatility and customization that can be achieved with Triumph bolt-on parts.
