Whether it’s because you want to build a bike like the one your grandfather rode or you just like the way vintage bikes look, resto-mods have a rich sense of culture and heritage that many other bikes can’t even feign to have. But don’t think that having a true heritage-style requires a huge budget: you can build a bike with all the character of a period bike with just a couple well-placed parts and a quick weekend project.
With the right seat, handlebar, and exhaust system, you can get the right look, feel, and sound of a true vintage bike.
If you want to take it to the next level, check out our Resto-Mod Style Guide on how to get the real deal.
