1. Support the bike securely and let the brakes cool completely.
2. Remove the front wheel following your service manual.
3. Unbolt the stock rotor from the wheel and lift it off.
4. Clean the mounting face on the wheel so the new rotor seats flat.
5. Fit the Galfer rotor and hand start every bolt before tightening any of them.
6. Torque the rotor bolts to your service manual specification in a cross pattern.
7. Refit the wheel, torque the axle to spec, and pump the lever until it firms up.
8. Bed the pads in with a series of moderate stops before riding hard.

• Check your model: select your make, model, and year above. Fitment differs by platform and year across the Bonneville, Thruxton, Scrambler, Street, Speed Twin, and Ducati Scrambler ranges.
• Rotors are sold individually. If your bike has dual front discs, order two.
• The Ducati Scrambler rotor is not a stock item. It needs 3 to 5 days lead time before it ships.
• Run Galfer pads to keep the warranty. Galfer's 6 month rotor warranty holds only while Galfer pads are on the rotor, and the clock starts the day you buy it, not the day you fit it. Fitting new pads with a new rotor is good practice anyway, since a fresh rotor bedding into worn pads gives up the bite you paid for.
• You will need a torque wrench. Rotor bolts are a safety critical fastener and go to a specification, not to feel.
