Great Seat
I liked the stock brown seat. Very soft, provided a sit-in feel, but did not allow for much movement. It is brown, and I was looking to darken my T120 even further.
The Slammer has exceeded my expectations as a replacement, black seat.
Perfect fit. Installs easier than the stock Triumph seat. No mid clips, and the pan has no dips. It rides right on the frame, and creates a better platform-feels better than stock riding over rough roads.
More narrow than stock, but slightly taller. Seat opens up the cockpit slightly, and begs you to move around, yet keeping you firmly planted when accelerating.
I’m still touching the ground flat-footed. If you’re on your tip-toes with the stocker, the height could be a point of contention with the slammer.
The firmness subtly transforms the Bonne into a sportier ride. British Customs did a great job of mixing a firm, supportive, and comfortable feel. I consistently spend an hour+ a day in the saddle commuting to and from the shop, as well as riding to customers’ homes for estimates. Comfort is important. I wasn’t sure how the ribbed, tuck n roll design would feel at the end of the day ride home. So far, after about 1,000 miles on it, I would report that it is working out very well.
Looks great! The slammer looks good with the stock rear fender set-up. I will probably tail-tidy at some point and I think the seat will accentuate that look as well.
