I added the slash cut to my scram 400x this January. Super easy to fit and the finish is fantastic. It's looks stock but adds just a bit more grunt to the stock sound. Not disappointed!
Easy install and along with DNA air filter my bike runs good and sounds great.
Got my slash cut tip delivered a couple of days ago. This is a quality piece for sure, and it's made in the US! The offset inlet pushes the tip closer to the heat shield, so it fits and looks like an OEM piece, without an unsightly gap, like you would have with a straight tip. The welded nut with the allen head set bolt secures it from moving around much more than just a simple sheet metal screw thru the tip itself. The muffler on the 400X is pretty much straight-thru, so I'm not expecting this tip to make it significantly louder, but maybe sound different. With the availability of a decat header pipe being practically non-existent, this is the next best thing.
