The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE are built for riders who want more than just classic looks—they demand performance, sound, and rugged durability. Inspired by Guy Martin’s hard-ridden Scrambler 1200, which ran short, slash-cut pipes for maximum attitude, this system brings the raw, stripped-down character of a desert sled to modern Triumph Scramblers.
We took the proven shotgun design, shortened the body and baffle, and retained the louvre core to produce a deep, resonant tone with crisp throttle response. The result is a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC/XE exhaust that honors the bike’s heritage while delivering modern gains in performance, rideability, and weight.
Crafted from lightweight, brushed 304 stainless steel, the Slash Cut Shotgun Slip-On sheds over 14 pounds compared to the stock exhaust, improving agility and ride feel. The compact 12-inch body and 2-inch tubing keep the lines tight and aggressive. A bolt-on fit means you're back on the road fast—with a finish that complements the Scrambler’s rugged build.

First, let me be VERY clear . . . I love this company and their products. What's great about these guys is that once you place your order, you get an email receipt and an email which the installation instruction! And, installing these Shotguns was very easy and not very time consuming. Their sounds is fantastic, and I get many compliments on them. BUT, my only complaint is that they do NOT come with a Heat shield which is too bad, be cause you can't put someone on the Back unless you wrap them, or build/source custom heat shields. Why not create a heat shield for these which matches the mid section? It would really make these complete. OR, make the heat shield an option?
P.S. Nothing like nailing the throttle and making these puppies roar!!
The slash cut exhaust sounds mega!!!! It’ sounds like a powerful growl that almost reminds me of an old V8 in a kind of way. In addition, when you let off the throttle you can get some lovely pops and burbles that aren’t super loud, but very satisfying.
These pipes brought my Triumph Street Scrambler to life. They look fantastic, sound perfect, and the installation was a breeze. Definitely buying more products from BC.
