SW Motech Skid Plate for Triumph Motorcycles (2016+)

Just mounted these on my ‘22 Street Scrambler - Sandstorm Edition. They appear to be super high quality! I purchased them to mount a set of aux lights onto. I have small but dexterous hands and getting the nuts back onto the bolts was a little tricky since you have even less space to work with…even with the gas tank off. Not quite the 10 minute install I assumed it would be, but also not a huge pain in the butt. They look freakin’ awesome and I can’t wait to get the lights wired up.

These crash bars are very high quality and were literally bolt-on. I was surprised at how well they fit but I should not have been as these bars were made in Germany and they have a reputation for high quality manufacturing. The reason I bought them was not in the case of a crash. Nothing can really help you there. But if I dropped the bike, either the shift lever or the rear brake lever would be bent, not to mention the gas tank and mirror damage that would occur. I am hoping that these bars will save me some damage if I drop it some time.

I was originally looking at cheap Chinese bars on Amazon but decided to go with high quality and more expensive bars. I am glad that I did because these are great looking and have a fine finish on them. And they look good too.
