Since 1907, the Isle of Man TT has been sorting out what actually matters in a motorcycle. Thirty-seven miles of closed public roads, stone walls at arm's length, and a mountain section that has ended careers and reputations alike. The bikes that won there were not the heaviest, the quietest, or the most cautious. They were the ones built with intention: light, responsive, and loud enough to know the engine is working.
That is what we named this exhaust after.
The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 is a performance-focused modern classic. Riders who choose it are not looking for stock. But stock is what they get on the exhaust, because that is what the factory ships. The mufflers are heavy, quiet, and visually restrained. They hold back the deep, responsive character the 1200cc twin is capable of delivering. That is what the factory has to ship. The Builder Series TT is what you put on after.
The Two-Stage Core uses two baffles at two different diameters to control exhaust flow in sequence. The result is mid-range torque preserved through corners, rolling throttle, and city traffic, which is exactly the RPM range where the Speed Twin lives. The Dimpled Baffle shapes a deep, classic exhaust note that brings out the natural voice of the engine. At 2.4 pounds per silencer, it also drops significant rear weight and sharpens how the bike moves.
This is the exhaust the Speed Twin 1200 should have shipped with.
Key Features & Benefits
Dimpled Baffle Sound Character — Shapes a deep, full exhaust note that brings out the 1200cc twin's natural voice. Eliminates the flat, restricted tone of the stock mufflers. The Builder Series TT is a loud exhaust by design and is not compatible with dB Killers. For a quieter setup that is still tuned for mid-range performance, the Predator Pro 2.0 uses a Louvre Core and is dB Killer compatible.
Two-Stage Core — Two baffles at two different diameters control exhaust flow in sequence, maintaining the backpressure your engine needs through low-to-mid-range RPMs. The Speed Twin stays responsive pulling out of corners, off idle, and through the rolling throttle range where most riding actually happens. The Two-Stage Core is exclusive to the Builder Series TT. It is what gives the TT its specific sound character and is the reason dB Killers are not compatible with this design.
Significant Weight Savings — Each silencer weighs 2.4 pounds, replacing stock mufflers at 8 to 10 pounds per side. The Speed Twin feels noticeably lighter and more agile through direction changes and low-speed maneuvering. Physics, not marketing.
20-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel — Corrosion-resistant and rated for sustained heat cycling. Brushed finish requires no polishing and develops character over time without maintenance.
Raw, Exposed-Weld Construction — Welds are intentionally left visible and unfinished. This is the defining look of the Builder Series: a vintage custom aesthetic with a purposeful, rider-built feel. A deliberate contrast to the polished factory appearance.
Bolt-On to Factory Headers — Fits the stock headers and OEM mounting points on both the Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS. No cutting, welding, or frame modification required. No ECU tuning needed with the factory catalytic converter in place.

Fitment
Other Slip-On Exhaust for the Speed Twin 1200 R & RS
Yes. The Builder Series TT mounts directly to stock headers and factory mounting points. No cutting, welding, or permanent modification is required. Select your fitment above for model-specific installation details.
Do I need an ECU remap after installing this exhaust?
On most fitments, no ECU tuning is required when the factory catalytic converter is in place. The Thruxton 900 is the exception — it requires a tune update to the 2-2 Arrow Map at an authorized Triumph dealer. Select your fitment above for model-specific details.
How loud is this exhaust compared to stock?
The Builder Series TT is a loud exhaust by design. The Dimpled Baffle shapes a deep, performance exhaust note that is significantly more present than stock. It is not compatible with dB Killers. For a quieter option that is still mid-range tuned and dB Killer compatible, the Predator Pro 2.0 uses a Louvre Core.
Will I lose mid-range power with this exhaust?
No. The Two-Stage Core is specifically designed to maintain backpressure in the low-to-mid-range. Unlike perforated core designs that sacrifice torque for top-end noise, the TT keeps the engine responsive where riders actually use it.
What is the weight savings over stock?
The Builder Series TT weighs 2.4 pounds per silencer (4.8 pounds per pair). Stock mufflers typically weigh 8 to 10 pounds per side. That is approximately 11 to 15 pounds removed from the rear of the bike.
What is the difference between the Builder Series TT and the Predator Pro 2.0?
Different core designs, different sounds. The TT uses a Two-Stage Core with Dimpled Baffle — a performance exhaust note, loud by design, not compatible with dB Killers. The Predator Pro 2.0 uses a Louvre Core built from 18-gauge stainless steel, which produces a deeper, more classic sound. The heavier gauge allows all welds to be fully finished, giving the Predator Pro its cleaner appearance. The Predator Pro 2.0 is dB Killer compatible. Choose the TT for a performance note at full volume. Choose the Predator Pro 2.0 for a deeper, classic sound with the option to dial it back.
Is the brushed stainless finish the only option?
Yes. The Builder Series TT is available in brushed stainless steel. This finish is low maintenance, develops character over time, and pairs with any build direction.

Easy to install, perfect fit!
Installed a set of these mufflers on my '25 Speed Twin 1200 this morning. Very simple to install, fit and finish was excellent, all hardware is included (clamps, spacers, washers). Watch the video on YT and pay close attention when removing the passenger footpeg and that small bearing! Really brings out the sound of the twin with these mufflers.
