Thruxton 1200/R - How to Remove the Rear Turn Signals

1 - Remove the seat (How To Remove the Thruxton 1200 Seat)

2 - Disconnect the battery (see hot to remove the Thruxton 1200/R Battery)

Note: When disconnecting the battery always disconnect the negative (black) terminal 1st

 

3. Remove the rear fender (see how to remove the rear fender Thruxton 1200 R)

4 - Remove the rear taillight assembly (see how to remove the rear taillight assembly)

5 - Remove the (1) fastener that secures the rear light assembly harness using an 8mm socket.

Pro Tip:  Not the routing of the turn signal harness for installation. The right turn signal harness connector can be identified by red tape.  

6 - Disconnect the turn signal connectors

7 - Remove the (1) fastener that secures the turn signal onto the rear taillight assembly using a 5mm Allen

8 - Remove the turn signal from the taillight assembly, Repeat Steps 5-8 for the other side.  

Pro Tip: Note the turn signal harness routing for installation.
