Pamela Weekend Projects Series: Appearance

Pamela Weekend Projects Series: Appearance - British Customs

Pamela was made for having fun, and she was built to look like it too.

To create her distinctive appearance, a handful of carefully chosen parts were selected that worked together visually, and which also improved the function of the bike. The Slammer Seat was used because of its no nonsense looks, and because of the medical-grade gel insert that keeps every ride about the journey, not the destination. To finish cleaning up the tail section, Shorty Low Profile Seat Screws and a Modern Classic Flat Plate were installed. To clean up the details, a Clutch Lifter Arm Finisher, Clutch Cable Bracket, Mock Monza Gas Cap, and Quick Release Side Cover Screws were used.

Together, all these small parts completely changed the way the bike looked, and gave it a unique sense of character.

All these upgrades can be installed over a weekend, and naturally go together as a single project. If you’re curious about how some of these parts are put on, check out our list of step-by-step installation guides in the How To section under DIY. If you’re inspired to create your own custom Weekend Project, check out our Weekend Projects page to select your model and get started.
