Air Injection Removal Kit

Designed as an emissions control modification, the Triumph air injection system pumps air into the engine to force more fuel to burn inside the cylinder. While that may sound commendable, it comes at a cost. The downside of the system is that it creates a lean fueling condition that spikes exhaust temperature -- that encourages your header pipes to turn blue and makes low-speed throttle adjustments finicky at best. This upgrade has all the components needed to replace the air injection system for a finished look and a cooler running engine. The British Customs Air Injection block-off bolts are machined from aluminum in a low profile design and coated black to match the head perfectly or left raw: either way they virtually disappear.

A. If you have the ECC installed on your bike you will need to take the following steps: (1) Install a 60 watt 100-ohm resistor between the brake light wire and ground. Lanesplitter Folding Billet Bar-end Mirror

CRG Folding Billet Bar-End Mirror was created by adding the folding / retractable feature to the original Hindsight. There are two primary benefits of the retracting bar end mirror-added clearance during tight riding conditions and reduced width for bike storage. Simply pull in the bezel of the mirror to create additional clearance, then fold the bezel back out against its positive stop in the full open position and the sighting of the mirror returns perfectly to its rear vision position. The detent folding mechanism is calibrated to retract should the mirror contact an immovable object, thus allowing forward motion without disruption of steering control. The pivot of the hinge features a ball/spring detent which holds the mirror bezel in the full open or full retracted positions. The pivot also features dust rings that provide for years of maintenance-free operation. As with the original Hindsight we use custom convex glass formed to our own specification to give you the perfect balance between field of vision and image magnification. To reduce glare, the glass has an automotive quality mirror tinting. Rubber mounting helps the glass resist vibration. The lightweight but sturdy construction allows the Hindsight Mirror to be positioned for optimal viewing without concern of movement during high-speed runs or excursions over rough roads.

Highway cruising on your Modern Classic an get a buzzy at speed. Its ok to admit that you’ve tried to click up another gear when hitting the highway -- we’ve done it too. To make interstate travel a smoother af-fair, British Customs has engineered a lightweight countershaft sprocket that allows riders to easily adjust their gearing ratio.
Each sprocket is manufactured from 8620 case-hardened steel and CAT plated with lightening holes to provide reduced weight compared to the stock sprocket. The BC sprockets are visually appealing and made to last, meaning they look fantastic when exposed with the British Customs Front Sprocket Cover delivering a true hot rod look.
Going up one tooth from your bike’s stock configuration is a great alter-native for freeway riding and feels like you’ve added a 6th gear to your Triumph Modern Classic. Changing the number of teeth on your countershaft sprocket has the same effect as changing your rear sprocket by two teeth. Increasing the number of teeth of the countershaft sprocket will give you the feeling of adding another gear on the freeway. If you are looking for more get up and go out of hole, drop down a tooth. The lower the tooth, the faster out of the hole, more push off the line, and less top end (top speed).
NOTE: You are able to verify the number of teeth on your bike currently by removing the sprocket cover and counting the number of teeth. There are no fluids or gaskets required to remove the sprocket cover.
