The Story of the Thruxton 900

The Thruxton 900 was released in 2004 as the cafe racer-inspired version of the Bonneville. Though it shares the same frame and engine as the Bonneville, the Triumph Thruxton parts used created a completely different style riding experience, including upgraded forks, a smaller 18” front wheel, lengthened shocks, rear set footrests, and a lower handlebar position.

NOTE: This model underwent some updates in 2008. Most notably, the fuel system changed from carbureted to fuel-injected and the clip-ons were replaced by riser mounted handlebars. Consider the year of your Thruxton when shopping for Triumph Thruxton 900 aftermarket parts.
