Continental Tire the Americas, LLC. (Continental Tire) is recalling TKC80 tires.
Continental Tire the Americas, LLC. (Continental Tire) is recalling certain TKC80, ContiGo!, K62, and LB Continental Motorcycle tires. 68,770 tires manufactured from January 06, 2019 - April 30, 2022 may be affected. Cracks longer than 3/16 inch may develop in the tread grooves. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars."Cracks in the tread can lead to tread separation, increasing the risk of a crash. Continental Tire will notify owners and replace the affected tires, free of charge.
Those affected by the recall may contact Continental customer service at 1-888-799-2168. Continental Tire will replace the affected tires, free of charge.
