The Shorty Predator Exhaust was originally designed in 2004, the reverse megaphone design pays tribute to the original exhaust found on many of the early custom triumphs. The goal of the Predator was to replicate the sound and style of the vintage reverse megaphones while increasing the performance of your Triumph Motorcycle. Updated in 2017, the redesigned pipe retained all that made the original popular while updating the design to benefit from 12 years of real world use.

A Thruxton 900 finds its voice!

This product is perfect!! It is beautiful, and the sound is fantastic. Not sure if it makes the bike and faster, but it sure feels that way.

The Shorty pipes provide that aggressive Cafe sound on acceleration and delight with semi-random pops on downshifting and engine breaking. I'm not a "loud pipe" guy and this pair are not at all too loud, but if you disagree BC sells some plugs for the end that drops the noise a little.

The BLEM part: I wish all 'defective' items for sale were so nice. solid stainless construction is forgiving, though there was a small dent on one pipe that could only be seen if the bike were upside down (God forbid). One side took about 15 min to complete including the removal of the old and much heavier OEM pipe. The other side had a slightly bent hanger at the root. Or maybe it was welded on wonky. In any case, it took about 1.5 hours to complete that side between the trips from the bike to the vise and back to fit. But who cares, I was getting 'garage time' and bonding with my bike.

My takeaway: This product is worth the FULL list price. The BLEM discount just made the juice sweeter for the squeeze.
