Now you can get everything you need for a complete, professional installation of our Exhaust Insulating Wrap, all in one package. Kits include Exhaust Insulating Wrap, Hi-Heat Coating and Snap Strap; available in Black and Original. An economical solution to blue headers. Cover up your blue headers with this hi temp exhaust wrap. A trick taken from old-school chopper/bobber builders. Wrapping your headers adds style to your bike while keeping the temperature down on your exhaust. Adds a aggressive, race, retro look to your Triumph. Wrapping headers maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures. Exhaust Insulating Wrap withstands continuous heat up to 2000 °F, and contains no asbestos. Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by Thermo-Tec - Thermal Conduction Technology (TCT) - that conducts heat across the wrap's surface. This coating controls heat build-up and dissipation. Exhaust wrap is 2" x 50' in length.

After getting a second-degree burn from my scrambler's exhaust (even with the supposedly "hi-tech" heat-shield), I realized I cannot ride all summer long with enduro boots... This was a technical solution for me, but as a bonus it looks rad!

One caveat though, the table of measurements is not really accurate. Do a test-wrap before cutting or you will end up with a long, unusable stretch of fabric like I did!
