The British Customs Mirror Hole Caps were designed to offer Triumph owners an inexpensive and easy to install option for addressing the hole left behind in your controls when relocating mirrors. If you have installed bar-end mirrors or a clamp on mirror, you may have hole left in the controls. No need to leave this unattended.

The Mirror Hole Caps are machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum and anodized black. Available for most Triumph models, our Mirror Hole Caps come in three variations, each developed for specific Triumph models. Select your model above to view the option for your bike.

The other two reviews are inaccurate. Not only do instructions get emailed to you, if you need them you may want to stop trying to modify your bike yourself.

1.5mm allen wrench shoved into the hole after finger tightening, and you're making tea with the wife. On the Street Twin, you may need to remove the bolt holding your brake reservoir, and hold it upright while you add your shiny new bolt.

    It's not rocket surgery...

Looks great. Cleans it up nicely.

These are simply plugs that screw into the holes vacated by the OEM mirror stalks. Speaking as a Street Scrambler owner, the right side was not as intuitive as I would have hoped. Not only does the stalk need to be removed, but also the bolt holding the brake reservoir in place. Because this plug has a rounded top, it took some finagling to get it secure enough to hold down the brake reservoir as well. A simple b/w photo of completed install would have been sufficient for instructions.

Overall, I’m happy with the product, but I do see room for improvement in final design as well in proving more information for install. It sounds silly, but these have been the trickiest British Customs purchase I’ve dealt with to date.

Although expensive for what they are, these plugs work well if you want to keep the original mirror brackets on the bike. This makes it easy if you want to bring back the original mirrors at a later time. Well that is true for the left hand mirror bracket.

My only concern is not being able to torque down (using the 1.5 mm allen wrench method) the right side plug that on my bike, must support and hold the brake reservoir and it's bracket. I'm hesitant about using any blue loctite to hold it tight.

Any ideas from the guys at BC would be welcomed. I could be missing something simple. Or maybe a different place or way to screw down the bracket.

Instructions were e-mailed to me at the time of purchase and also an available link was listed on the product page.

Shipping was incredibly fast. Item came a day before I was expecting it.

The right side on the street scrambler is a challenge. I nicked the screw slightly, barely noticeable but kinda disappointing that nothing was included to tighten it down. I ended up using a sowing needle to get it tight enough. When you buy the product you'll understand why.
